Gollapudi gramam is located on the banks of astonishing Krishn River and a short travel from Vijayawada city. This village is next to NH 9 on the way to Hyderabad. As far as the political scenario this village falls under MYLAVARAM Assembly constituency.

Village Background:
The first and foremost president of the village was held under the Leadership of Late Vadlamudi Sethaa Ramaswamy for over 18 successful years unanimously. He was the pioneer to get electricity & a Library to the village. The Famous N G Ranga and SethaRamsaway were the dear friends and the former who contributed a lot to the village development during the initial stages after the Indian Independence so, henceforth the 4 corner junction was named “Ranaga Boma center” and laid his statue at the center of the village.
The current population of the village is close to 25,000 and became a major hub for realestate business. The current President of the Village is Mr. Bommasaani SubbaRao successfully running on the 2nd Term of the village presidency .
The political scenario is quite well balanced between two major parties like Congress & TDP in the village enjoying with an equal majority of following. But the last two terms of the Village politics and the village presidency is revolving successfully around Congress under the leadership of Bommasaani SubbaRao.
